Winter Property Checks - here’s 5 simple things you can check to help your home serve you well through the winter months…

1. Gutters & downpipe - are they full, leaking or broken? Get them sorted before the next heavy rain

2. Windows and doors - can you feel a draft anywhere? How are the seals looking? Any broken or missing latches?

3. Heat pump - when was it last serviced? Are you warming up dust or your home? Check that filter!

4. Moisture - where are the areas in your home that see less sunlight in winter? Any damp spots or areas prone to gather moisture or mould? Clean it, dry it, air it out.

5. Outdoor lighting - how well lit are your entranceways, paths and driveways? Any trip hazards? Now is a good time to may sure it’s safe as houses.

Spending a few hours now could save you spending thousands later on!
