Day 2 -

Construction of scaffold to hold a big screen next to the halfpipe.

Digging, digging and more digging to get down past the snow to find ice to use big ground screws to anchor the scaffold down.

A lot of carrying gear up hill from the base to the halfpipe location.

As we built this structure during the day and the ski field was open no machinery was able to assist us with the mahi.

The arms and legs of our Team certainly got a decent workout.

Scaff built, LED screen attached and test run.

Not a usual day for the team but for Red and Black Scaffolding we are always up for something a bit different.

Not Just Scaffolding.

A couple of weeks ago the Red and Black Team made the trek down south to the Cardrona Ski Resort to install scaffold and other structures for the Snow League Big Air Competition.

Day 1 -

VIP Bar tent at the bottom of the half pipe and competitors half pipe banner entrance at the top of the half pipe.

Follow us over the next couple of days as we showcase the other work we did for this huge international event, and yes we had the help of diggers, snow ploughs, skid steers and snowmobiles to smash this one out of the park.

Yet another Shrink wrap framed up and ready for shrink wrapping.

The photos don’t do it justice on the size and complexity of this job. Located in Hinds in Mid Canterbury on a dairy farm , this project is highly exposed to the gale norwest winds that regularly blow through this area.

A big shout out to our highly skilled and hardworking scaffolders who smashed this job out in record breaking time.

Lead by our amazing Wem Geronimo Mozo for his planning,knowledge, expertise and hard-work to get this one done.

Weather Delays Due To Adverse Weather? Not For Our Team!

Our clients know when we say we will be there, we will, every time, on time, regardless of the weather.
This week the team travelled to Greta Valley to prepare scaffolding for a shrink wrap job.
The snow flurries & chilly air temperature didn't deter the team from getting the job done on time.
We are incredibly grateful to our team of dedicated professionals for their hard work & quality workmanship.
We served a well deserved break with hot chips & hot chocolates & they got on with the rest of the build in challenging conditions.
