Following a recent announcement from the Reserve Bank, Debt-to-income (DTI) restrictions will be in action soon.

From 1 July 2024, banks will need to comply with new debt-to-income (DTI) restrictions, set by the Reserve Bank. These restrictions will apply to new lending for residential homes in New Zealand, for both owner-occupiers and investors.

Last week SBS bank launched a 5.99% mortgage rate fixed for 3 years, the first bank to offer a rate under 6% since the middle of last year. This shows that there is now alot more optimism in the market and that interest rates may potentially continue to drop as the year goes on.

Our inspection report price is based on the size and location of the house – ring to ensure you get the best price.
You will have the report at the latest 48hrs after the inspection is carried out - however in most cases the reports go out around 24hrs after the inspection.
