Yesterday I swapped my real estate hat for my creative hat and headed along to a lino printmaking workshop! 🎨

Held at the lovely creative space Growing New Brighton and run by the very talented Fi from Moon & Moor. We started by drawing our designs, then carefully carved them into lino plates before applying ink and making our prints.

It’s MUCH harder than it looks! 😂 But there was something incredibly satisfying about pulling that first print off the press and seeing the finished result — even if the quality definitely has room for improvement!

A special bonus was having Fi’s parents there too, with her dad’s print being the very first one off the press. How cool is that?

I don’t think I’ll be adding lino printing to my appraisal services anytime soon 😂… although I suppose “creative property marketing” could have a nice ring to it! 😉
