Happy Father’s Day ❤️

Father’s Day is always a day that brings back special memories for me.

I lost my Dad far too young, at just 61. It’s hard to believe it’s been over 20 years now. So much life has happened since then, and there are still so many moments when I wish he was here to share them.

Today I’ll be remembering my Dad, the memories we made, and the influence he had on my life. ❤️

To all the wonderful dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures — Happy Father’s Day. I hope you’re spoilt and reminded just how much you mean to those around you.

And to those, like me, whose dads are no longer here — today we remember them with a little extra love. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Always missed, never forgotten. xx

Check out the proposed route for a cycleway linking New Brighton with the Central City 👀🚴

Formerly known as the Avon-Ōtākaro route, the proposed cycleway will run from Fitzgerald Avenue to Marine Parade, linking with the Rapanui-Shag Rock and City to Sea cycleways.

After being presented to two community boards last night, the proposal will now go to Council with public consultation taking place prior to any final decision being made.
