Last night at the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand Awards I was lucky enough to take home the
‘Rural Rising Star Salesperson of the Year’ award. 🏆

It’s been a heck of a last couple of years and it was awesome to be recognised with this award and get a chance to rub shoulders with some of the industry’s best.

What a difference a couple of years can make!
The first half of 2026 just got better and better.

Out and about on farm it’s great to see the amount of activity; whether it’s deferred maintenance, Capex or genetic investment everything suggests short to medium-term confidence is very high.

Buyer demand is steadily increasing, creating strong competition at deadlines and reinforcing the confidence that not to long ago was almost nonexistent.

There weren’t many people predicting times like these a couple of years ago.

Maybe, just maybe this could be the year to replace the bottom step of the tractor. Enjoy!
