Cornish Point Holiday Home is a luxurious 3 level modern home situated in Cornish Point on the shore of Lake Dunstan. At the epicenter of the Central Otago wine district, our Holiday Home is midpoint to Alexandria, Queenstown, and Wanaka. This fully furnished property is perfectly suited for family vacations and/or a romantic week away. Amenities Include:

-We have pet goats, alpacas, and llamas on an adjacent property that love attention, so don’t be shy!

Four generous sized bedrooms, three with full ensuites and one with and adjacent private powder room are situated on different levels to maximise privacy. Two of the rooms feature a Super King and a Single bed, the third has one King and the fourth has one Super King bed.
This home is fully furnished and has all of the amenities you would expect to find. Open plan living, lounge and games room hosting a large pool table. A small office area sits within this space.
Enjoy dinning on the patio using the BBQ/grill or toast marshmallows over your fire pit. Large garden chess board for your entrainment. Stroll across landscaped lawn down to the river to enjoy the sunset on your own private jetty with unhindered views of Old Cromwell Township. Feeling weary? Central Otago’s spectacular scenery and stunning unspoiled wilderness is home—and inspiration—to a phenomenal range of talented artists: painters and sculptors, ceramic and glass artists, photographers, fabric and textile artists, woodcarvers and furniture makers, metal workers and jewellers.

Cromwell’s Heritage Precinct and its eclectic collection of galleries and artists’ studios. The precinct’s 1860s’ gold rush buildings—saved or lovingly re-built on higher ground when the 1990 Clyde dam was completed—sit snugly alongside the picturesque shores of Lake Dunstan. Now imaginatively re-purposed, wander through exhibition spaces displaying solo and group exhibitions, and visit artists, craftsmen and craftswomen busy in their work space.

It’s a heady list but spend a little time on the Central Otago Arts Trail, and exploring their work and learning more about their practices couldn’t be easier. You could couple this experience with a visit to one of the many boutique restaurants, cafes or wineries
