The Society of Otago University Law Students’ Tenancy Advice Programme is up and running for 2023!

We work with local solicitors to provide free legal tenancy advice. We have fortnightly advice sessions where we discuss your tenancy issues with the solicitors, and get back to you with clear, concise advice on the next steps you should take.

SOULS Tenancy Programme is recruiting for 2022!

SOULS Tenancy Programme is a student led organisation, aimed at providing free tenancy legal advice to other students.

You can develop your client interviewing skills, tenancy law knowledge, and work with local solicitors to solve real life problems.

Additionally, part of this programme involves advertising to encourage students to use our services with any tenancy issues they have. These promotional exercises occur for one hour on every alternating week between the advice sessions.

Times will be flexible for the promo sessions, but please only apply if you are able to commit to the advice sessions on Monday's 2pm-3pm fortnightly, this first meeting being March 21st.
