What a start to the year it has been! I thought things were bad when my oldest kid got sick 4 days before school started and missed the first 10 days of school (he's fine now). Then it all turned to custard when Cyclone Gabrielle ripped through, leaving massive destruction and loss in its path. We all have received beautifully worded messages, sharing love and support for those affected and how to help. I won't write anything different but want to thank everyone who is a local hero in my eyes, the teachers of Boys High and other schools stepping up, the volunteers helping at shelters and in affected area, the Council, neighbours and friends, other real estate agencies and local companies and I'm particularly proud of my team, admin, sales agents and Property management.
