REINZ Stats - August 2026

The latest REINZ figures show a measured Waikato property market through August, with the regional median sale price sitting at $720,000.

Owner-occupiers and first-home buyers remained the most active groups, while buyers continued to be selective and price-conscious. New, well-presented and appropriately priced properties generally attracted stronger interest.

As spring brings more listings to market, realistic pricing, quality presentation and a well-targeted marketing strategy remain key to standing out.
