On Sunday, our much-loved Director, Neil Welch, celebrated his 70th birthday, and today we had the pleasure of celebrating this very special milestone with him here at the office.

Neil has been part of the Golden Homes story for an incredible 33 years!
After working alongside Len Helms, who went on to establish Golden Homes in 1990, Neil then established the Waikato arm of Golden Homes in June 1993.

What he has helped build since then is so much more than beautiful homes or a business.
Neil has created a culture where people are genuinely cared for, valued and treated like family. 💛

Those of us lucky enough to work alongside him know just how much heart he brings to everything he does.
His kindness, generosity, loyalty and genuine care for people have made such a lasting impact on all of us and are a huge part of what makes Golden Homes Waikato so special.

33 years with Golden Homes. 70 years young. And still very much at the heart of our Golden Homes family. 💛

Every handover is special and something we'll never tire of being a part of. ✨💛✨

What a special day for the Golden Homes Waikato team.💛

With the sun shining and a beautiful Waikato day putting on a show, we were incredibly proud to hand over the keys to Stefano and his wonderful family.
It's been an absolute pleasure being able to bring their vision to life, and our team has loved being part of their building journey.
