Working with other agents is a privilege for myself and my clients. It allows us to look at more properties without overwhelming the buyer with too much information, stress and confusion. Preparing a property to have a strong campaign is no walk in the park (although I wish it was). It requires a depth of understanding of the market that is only achieved by working in it every single day. It requires knowledge of how buyers work, think and approach a property.

I am not just a 'salesperson'. I am a negotiator, a marketer and my job is to ensure the campaign sets the property and the vendor up to succeed.

A common misconception is that we as agents 'control the market'. Simply put, we don't.

But we can control how we prepare you as the buyer, and you as the seller view the property amongst oodles of competition. I am ecstatic to present the result we had at 8 Bolmuir Road, within the mere mention of this property coming to market we had well over 10 private viewings and only 1 weekend of open homes before the property secured an offer which means the vendors can move to Auckland without worrying about falling in love with a property before they sold.

A wise salesperson will remind you that not all sales come easy. Sure, some only take 1-2 weeks or even 3-4 to have a fantastic result.

However, some require multiple tries, campaign changes and an insane amount of trust to achieve that result we're all looking for. In this property's case it was a grueling campaign that took many, many hours of consistent, dedicated hard work to get the 'sold' result I was bought on to achieve.

In the end it is bittersweet. Not only has my vendor been freed to move onto her next, exciting chapter, I now don't get to see one of my now hardest working clients as often.

As many of you know, I often refer to my clients 'moving on' as a breakup, and that is truly because I love what I do and I love who I get to work alongside. I wish from the very bottom of my heart the absolute best to my vendor as she moves into her new home soon.

I have already booked our next coffee catchup into my calendar as I'm just not ready to move on yet...
