Some tips to prepare:
Secure or bring inside any loose outdoor items.
Clear gutters and drains if safe to do so.
Make a plan for your household, including pets.
Ensure you have essential supplies (food, water, medication, torches, batteries).
Consider filling your bath with water in case water supply is interrupted. This water can be used for flushing toilets or basic washing if required.
