🎗️💛 My first ever Wig Wednesday! 💛🎗️

What a great cause supporting Child Cancer and the incredible work they do for Kiwi kids and their families. ❤️

The weather wasn’t exactly on our side ☔️😂 with the umbrellas intermittently coming to the fore, but it was still a great turnout and a really fun day.

It was also Denva’s first official outing in her Professionals bandana 🐶💙 She was more than happy to stroll along at her own pace, sniff absolutely everything 🌿😂 and, of course, stop to engage with every other canine she came across in the park. 🐕🐾

A big thank you to our amazing admin team Larissa, Jillian and Casey, our manager Shelley, and all my colleagues who put in the effort to bring it all together. 🙌💛 Also a big shout out to all the Southland businesses that donated prizes and our main partners Trade Me Property and Mee & Henry Law.

Not a bad day at the office! 😂🥾

I got the steps up showing a farm today. Fresh air, a good walk around and plenty of mud 🌿 Even bought some new gumboots for the occasion — and they definitely got christened! 😂

🌟 Supervision meeting #1 with the boss!

One thing I really value about the REA framework is that supervision isn’t just for new salespeople — every salesperson must be properly supervised, regardless of how many years they’ve been in the industry and it has to be by a Branch manager or someone holding an Agents license.

So Friday was my first formal supervision meeting with Shelley Henderson - Professionals Real Estate Invercargill who is our manager, she’s in-house and holds an Agent’s and Branch Managers licence. Once we’d ticked off the formalities, it quickly turned into a brainstorming session… including Shelley showing me some of her user-created scratchies. How cool are these?! 😂

I’ve also been making my way through the Professionals Invercargill handbook, and one thing really stood out: they genuinely value input from everyone in the business. After 20+ years in real estate across different companies in Invercargill and Wellington, I can tell you that isn’t something you should take for granted.

My favorite takeaway from the boss:

“KY, if you see anything you think can be improved, or any potential compliance issues, I want to know about it.”

Now that is a culture I can get behind. 👏🏡

🌻 Meet Vincent Van Grow 🌻

🌻 Things are getting serious at Professionals with our in-house sunflower growing comp!

Mine has officially been named Vincent Van Grow. 😂

Jo, Graeme and I had a bean-growing competition when we were at Bayleys and I may or may not have secretly planted a few extra beans in all their pot plants😇🌱

Unfortunately, they haven’t moved their plants into their new office just yet, so I haven’t been able to continue the tradition.

Vincent Van Grow will just have to beat them fair and square. 🌻🏆

…unless an opportunity presents itself. 👀😂

Absolutely spoilt today 🥰💙

Had the BEST surprise visit to my new office from two of my gorgeous nephews, Oscar & Tommy. 🥹

We were missing Monty, who had a pretty decent excuse — away on Waikato U16 rugby duties 🏉💪

And thank goodness I wore the boots with the BIG heels today 😂 Oscar has literally just turned 14 and is already 5’10”!! 😳 At this rate, next photo I’ll be standing on a box.

Nothing quite like a surprise visit from family to make your day. ❤️

We’re pretty used to seeing the cat or dog curled up in front of the Yunca… but lambs are definitely a new one! 😂🐑🔥

These two have clearly decided farm life is overrated and indoor living is the way forward.

Thinking of all our farmers and their animals out there battling this wet weather — hope everyone’s managing to stay as warm and dry as possible. ❤️

And if the new “pets” are taking up a bit too much room… you know who to call if you need a bigger house! 😂🏡
