INVERCARGILL SELLERS , THE MARKET IS MOVING!

August’s numbers show a $510,000 median sale price, up from $460,000 this time last year, an increase of nearly 11%!

Homes are also selling faster, with the median dropping from 33 days to 28 days.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence wondering “Is now a good time to sell?”, these numbers are definitely worth paying attention to.

I’m looking for new properties to bring to the market and have buyers actively searching across Invercargill.

🏡 INVERCARGILL PROPERTY MARKET IS BUCKING THE TREND!

Some pretty impressive stats for our local market:

🔹 Invercargill house values are UP 8.2% over the past year
🔹 Average home value is now just shy of $550,000
🔹 Nationally, property values fell 1.2%
🔹 Homes across Invercargill/Southland are selling in around ONE MONTH, compared with 50 days nationally
🔹 First-home buyer activity and competition is incredibly strong
🔹 Stock remains tight.
🔹 Strong farming returns, local employment and major upcoming projects are continuing to support our region

While much of NZ has seen values soften, Invercargill continues to stand out as one of the strongest, performing property markets in the country. 👏
