Wilma went to the vet today for a sore leg. She proceeded to wee and poo on the floor, while her mate Betty yelled her head off in the trailer outside. The whole town would have heard her! 😆

Peanut butter sandwiches made them forget all their troubles though 😋

Some of the ”treasures” washed up by the flood that we’ve found.

An old full leather, nailed sole, boot. Porcelain doll face, metal hot water bottle plug, thick Coke bottle glass, pottery ginger beer bottle and various china bits.

It’s so much fun fossicking for little bits of local history 😊

We survived the night but some of our trees didn’t.

We are currently flooded in with no power. Luckily we live in a fantastic community where everyone looks after each other 🥰

We survived - with very little sleep!

It was the windiest weather we’ve ever experienced, but no major damage 😁👍

No power all night, but back on now so the phones are charging and thermos flasks are being filled before the next outage. 📱☕️

A few small branches down, a big oak lost its top half and one large tree down. More will likely come down tonight, especially with the wet ground getting wetter and the wind getting windier! 💨

I’m not so keen to go outside tonight!

We’ve had a few small branches down and a short power outage. Edit - make that two power cuts! Sitting in the dark listening to the wind outside now.

It’s meant to be much worse tomorrow but we are prepared 👍
