At Stockholm Central Station, Green Furniture Concept reimagined a historic 1871 landmark into a future-ready transport hub, welcoming over 200,000 travellers daily. The modular Nova C seating brings flexibility and flow to the space, creating intuitive zones within a high-traffic environment.
Architect F***y Stenberg explains: “The new bench is a modern version of a traditional public sofa with wood ribs. It was important for us to be able to use the bench both straight and rounded, in order to maximize the number of seats and at the same time create different zones within the seating area”.
Finished with Rubio Monocoat, the oak benches offer world-class durability, preserving their natural look and performance even under constant, intensive use.
