Mangawhai isn't slowing down. 📈

Closing in on 8000 permanent residents and growing — at nearly double the national average. While New Zealand grows at 0.7% a year, Mangawhai is pushing 1.3%, with the Kaipara District averaging 1.4% over the last five years.
And every summer? The population triples or quadruples as holiday homeowners and visitors flood in from Auckland (just 90 mins up the road) and Whangarei (45 mins south).
780 building consents processed in 2024–25 alone. The growth is real, it's sustained, and it's exactly why we built Parkview here.

Parkview is now entering its final month of construction in Mangawhai Heads.

What started as a vision for a more considered, design-led commercial offering is rapidly becoming a reality — with final detailing, landscaping, signage and tenant fit-outs now underway.

We’re looking forward to bringing this next chapter to life very soon.

Car parks and curbing might not make the highlight reel… but they’re one of those key pieces that suddenly make a development feel real.
Great progress at Parkview this week as the external works continue to come together and the site moves another step closer to completion.

Parkview is now moving into its final phase in Mangawhai — and we’ve just released a more detailed look at the project, including the hospitality opportunity at the heart of it.

While it’s been positioned as a café, the opportunity is broader than that. It could suit an experienced operator — whether café, casual dining, or a chef-led concept — looking to create something of their own in a growing coastal market.

The space has been purpose-built, with strong frontage, outdoor flow, and a location right between the Village and Heads — designed to support something that becomes a genuine destination.

Big week on site at Parkview.

Scaffolding is finally coming down and the building is starting to show itself. At the same time we’re excavating the courtyard to install four underground water tanks that will sit beneath the central space.

The vision for the courtyard is starting to take shape.
