Turning on the shower only to end up chattering your teeth? Here's a few things you can troubleshoot to see why you don't have any hot water!

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: Make sure the thermostat on your cylinder is set to the correct temperature. If the temperature is too low, it may not be producing hot enough water.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲: If the hot water is not working, it may be because the fuse has tripped. Locate the fuse box and see if the breaker switch for the hot water heater has switched to the off position. If it has, switch it back to the on position.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀: Look for any signs of water leaks around the hot water cylinder. Leaks can cause the hot water heater to shut off.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿: If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, it's best to contact your property manager who will arrange a professional to check it out for you.
