The next phase of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) changes takes effect from tomorrow – 30th January 2025, impacting both landlords and tenants.

These changes relate to notice periods for ending tenancies and include:
• 21 Days - Tenants can end their periodic tenancy with 21 days’ notice
• 42 Days - Landlords can end a periodic tenancy with 42 days’ notice in specific circumstances
• 90 Days – Reintroduction of ‘no cause’ terminations - Landlords can end a periodic tenancy with 90 days’ notice without requiring a specific reason

Last Team Meeting for 2024 😀

Beautiful wee catch up today at The Little Engine Cafe joint to the WOW museum.
Great get together as always, even when missing a few team members, but was nice to get out and debrief on the final week ahead. Everything is still full steam ahead here in the office, finishing up inspections, getting property's tenanted ready for 2025 and ALL the bits and bobs that come between. Even though we are all looking forward to a well-deserved brake, we are helping each other out with ensuring everything is cleaned up and ending the 2024 year off on a high.
