SYNAGOGUE LANE PROPERTY SALES
We wanted to thank you very much for facilitating the sale of our Synagogue Lane properties.
These were difficult properties to sell into a tough market, coming off some overly confident valuations assessed at the peak of a property boom. In fact, there were quite a few unhelpful market conditions at the time. These were older homes that had previously been rental properties, and they weren't in particularly great shape. And they had been on the market for many months prior, without attracting much interest.
We came to Harcourts tired out. The process to date had been long and frankly, a little depressing. But Mike was optimistic he could get results. He was patient with us and provided a thorough explanation of the process and what to expect as sellers. His buoyancy and enthusiasm helped keep things moving along, and you could tell he was determined to succeed. His colleague Sandy was delightful.
That's not to say it was all smooth sailing. Mike was relentless in pursuit of potential purchasers. When one approach didn't succeed, Mike was able to quickly change tack. You could sense the determination and persistence in his regular correspondence with us. He particularly impressed us with the way he dealt with one potential purchaser, even taking her around to the neighbours and discussing her plans for the property with each of them.
Mike and his team worked hard and never gave up. Mike is a good communicator and worked well with Jill and I throughout the entire sale process, treating us both as equal partners. Importantly, he stuck to deadlines and kept to his word. We heartily recommend Mike Rollo and the team at Harcourts Nelson to anyone thinking of buying or selling their home.
