Lake Mangamahoe this morning was the calmest I've ever seen it. Not long after this the clouds rolled in and a breeze picked up. Taken at 6:15am. Definitely worth the early morning start on a chilly first day of Spring. Thanks to Dan Zafra from Capture the Atlas for the inspiration to go to this spot this morning. Sometimes it helps to have a visitor's eyes to see things in a fresh way and to appreciate how blessed we are here in Taranaki and in New Zealand.
