FIRST HOME WITHDRAWAL AND HOUSING NEW ZEALAND DEPOSIT SUBSIDY - FROM 1ST APRIL 2015.

As of 1st April 2015, three major changes to first home buyer packages came into effect. These changes include:

1. The amount you can withdraw from your KiwiSaver scheme will increase;
2. The KiwiSaver First Home Deposit Subsidy will be replaced by a KiwiSaver HomeStart Grant; and
3. House price caps for HomeStart Grant and Welcome Home Loans will increase.
