Engine top-end rebuild including new valves, guides, rings etc together with Carrera Chain tensioners at 183,102 miles. Side hard oil lines restored with all new soft oil lines.
Total mileage is currently 191,000 miles, so it's only travelled approx. 8,000 miles on the top-end engine rebuild.
How Rare? Little known fact, Porsche only started making RHD Targa’s for the 73 model year and 73 is the last year of the classic long-hood shape. The worldwide total of 1973 911S’s Targa (series F) was 925 of which only 46 RHD S Targa’s were imported into the UK – It is believed less than half still exist today and there are only 2 known in New Zealand.
The paint is best described as a 10-footer. It was painted over 30 years ago and has a number of chips, scratches and blemishes in places but still looks presentable. Commonly described as a driver in good original condition that has never been restored, but maintained as needed over the years.
Since purchasing IK10, I have regularly exercised her, she has always been registered and WOF every year, we have enjoyed around 20,000 happy miles together in the past 24 years, but now the time has come to pass her onto the next custodian.
