As you may know, we are a family business. You may not know that we are Dutch Kiwis, and this project is close to our heart. De Molen is a Foxton icon, and they even mill their own flour! If you can 'help keep the windmill milling' please do.

While it is a symbol of Dutch Heritage, it also is a symbol of how community and cultures joined together to build an iconic working “Heritage” building right here in Foxton.
We host tours, from schools, social groups and visitors, both, international and local.
De Molen brings tens of thousands of visitors to town each year.
The Mill creates a positive impact for our local business and tourist community, a connection for Dutch culture and teachings for all in engineering, food and history.
With the VERY salt laden winds here in Foxton maintenance is necessary from time to time to ensure this Molen will continue to operate beyond the next 300 years, as the Mill is designed to do.
While we have saved for this carefully over the past few years parts, of the mill, require attention sooner than expected and we need to top up our funds.
The Trust is faced with major external work, including replacement of the lattice sails, rust removal/protection and painting of highly exposed wooden areas, bird poo protection and upgrade of exterior lighting.
All donations of any amount are so gratefully received to keep our towns Molen turning.
