Passion for lifestyle
I grew up in the Manawatu, biking the back roads and fishing the rivers whenever I got the chance. This region is home. I left as a keen and hairy young man and returned from Auckland via Wellington with less hair but more sense in 1999 after a long career in the international shipping industry.
Together with my wife, Sue, we bought a life style property in the glorious Pohangina Valley which we farmed for fourteen years, learning how to fence, shear sheep, grow walnuts and tackling all of those other tasks that we had no idea needed doing.
After a few years in the tertiary education sector, I learned the ropes of real estate in Property Brokers’ Property Management division. With a down to earth and practical approach to life and to real estate, I love working with people to find solutions for them - land and buildings are just dirt and wood until people live in and on them transforming them into homes and businesses where families and individuals thrive and grow.
