Plants growing too close to exterior walls can block the vents in a cladding system. 🌿

Those vents are there for a reason. They allow air to move through the cavity so moisture can escape and the wall can dry properly.

When plants, soil, or garden beds cover these openings, airflow is reduced and damp conditions can develop and affect the home.

Keeping vegetation clear of the cladding helps the system work the way it was designed to.

Good ventilation in the home is key to keeping moisture levels under control. 💧

Open opposite windows for a 10–15 minute cross-breeze once or twice a day.

Even in winter, short bursts of airflow push out trapped moisture, bringing fresh air in and damp air out. 🔄
