UPDATE 9PM: The Severe weather warning has been extended to 7pm Tuesday. A further 70-100mm of rain to accumulate on top of what has already fallen.

Monday am:
We've just had news from MetService that they've put a heavy rain warning in place for parts of our region through to 9am Tuesday.

The area covered is Bay of Plenty west of Matata including Rotorua
We can expect 90 to 120 mm of rain with peak rates of 10 to 25 mm/hr.

One week left to go and every little bit counts. Yes we have reached our goal, but every dollar is going towards the kitties no matter how much it reaches.

I am so grateful for all the amazing people out there who have made a pledge, shared the posts, or even just called or messaged to see how we are doing.

As for Galaxy, he had a second treatment and is doing so much better. It is something I am going to have to watch closely, but it is working and we appreciate your help.

As for my beard... well that has one week left too 😬

The latest data from realestate.co.nz shows that just over 9,200 new properties were listed for sale last month, New Zealand wide! This is the lowest number of new listings for March since their records began 16 years ago.
