The statistics for the Porirua region in April look bleaker than last month, with the median sale price down, along with the number of properties sold and the number of days to sell.

It's a mixed bag this month, with a rise in the median sale price across the entire Kāpiti Coast, but a reduction in sales and an increase in days to sell. Waikanae figures seem to be the culprit driving the stats down.

While the median price was down across Kāpiti Coast, the number of houses sold was up across the region.

Are things picking up in the real estate market for Porirua? If the March stats are anything to go by, it would appear the answer is Yes! The median price for the month of March increased by 7.1%.

Another one sold. This one had three offers within a few weeks, but it took a while to get it over the line. Happy purchasers and Happy vendors is what we do 😆
