Everyone thinks deadline day is the only day that matters. It’s not.
The strongest offer isn’t always the highest number.
When comparing offers, there’s more to look at than the price:
• The offer price – a higher number isn’t automatically the strongest offer.
• The conditions – finance, due diligence, building reports and other conditions can all matter.
• The settlement date – when you can settle and whether that timing works for the seller.
Flexibility can also make a difference.
So if you’re ready to make an offer, you don’t necessarily have to wait until deadline day. It’s worth talking through your options first.
