Coming to stay in Pukehina? Here's your food shop guide.

One of the best things about a Pukehina holiday is that once you've arrived, you probably won't want to leave.

If you're planning to stock up before settling into your holiday home, there are a few options nearby. New World The Sands in Pāpāmoa is a convenient choice for a full grocery shop, as is New World Te Puke if you're coming through that way. There are also other supermarket options around Pāpāmoa if you need to stock up on everything for the family.

Once you're in Pukehina, the Pukehina Beach Store & Takeaway is handy for those last-minute essentials, snacks, drinks and, of course, fish and chips when you don't feel like cooking.

And for coffee, breakfast or lunch, make sure you stop by Monty's Café at 502 Pukehina Parade. It's a local favourite and even has a small playground for the kids.

Our holiday tip? Do your main grocery shop before you arrive, unpack everything, head down to the beach and settle into holiday mode. Save the car trips for when you actually want to explore.

How close to the beach do you want to be?

At Beach Rentals, we're pretty lucky. Most of our holiday homes are just a few steps from the sand. And when we say a few, we really mean it. For some, it's literally out the front door. For others, it's a short stroll across the road or down the street.
