If you're thinking about selling this spring, please don't rush out and start renovating everything! 😅One of the biggest mistakes I see is homeowners spending thousands on improvements that may not actually make a difference to the final sale result. Sometimes it's a fresh coat of paint, a tidy garden, better lighting or simply decluttering that will have buyers seeing your home in a completely different way.

And sometimes I'll tell you, "Don't spend money on that — it's not going to give you the return you're hoping for."

That's one of the benefits of getting my advice early.

📝🌸 Your Spring Selling Checklist Starts Here: Thinking about selling when the weather warms up? There are a few things you can start doing now that will make the whole process much easier later:

🧹 Declutter and remove anything you no longer need.
🌿 Tidy the gardens and outdoor areas.
💡 Check your lighting and replace anything dated or broken.
🛁 Give kitchens and bathrooms a really good clean.
🔨 Get those little maintenance jobs finished.

None of these sound particularly exciting, I know! 😂 But together they can make a huge difference to how buyers see your home. Good preparation creates a better first impression — and that's exactly what we want when your home hits the market.
