The Canterbury market is HOT 🔥 with its highest ever median sale price of $536,000, 16.5% higher 📈than this time last year, $460,000 IN DECEMBER 2019 TO $536,000 IN DECEMBER 2020 - this is the fifth consecutive month of record median house prices!
“Currently we have half the inventory levels we had back in December 2018. There just isn’t enough choice for people looking to purchase which has meant there is significant pressure being placed on house prices around NZ. When you add to the equation there are record low interest rates, it means people are more willing to compete to secure the property they want."
