Mark Janssen is a Rotorua local, having been brought up in Ngongotaha he now resides in Glenholme.
He has a strong background in Sales and Marketing, and recently left a very successful Sales position at Patchell Industries to spend more time at home and work within his home city.
One of Mark’s biggest achievements was being a volunteer Fire Fighter for 7 years, enjoying the community aspect, assisting with fire safety programs at Primary Schools and at local field days.
He has run the Sky Tower challenge several times, a fundraiser for the Leukemia Foundation of New Zealand where fire fighters from around the country climb 51 floors in full firefighting kit. In 2015 Mark was awarded the top individual fundraiser for NZ.
He was also instrumental in introducing the Lake Okareka Rural Fire Brigade to the Sky Tower event, where they have successfully placed as the Top Team.
His real estate studies and Qualification came about through a desire to keep learning and put himself in a position where he could apply his sales and communication skills within the Rotorua community.
Being a landlord, he has an interest in property and people. He enjoys using his handyman skills to do as much as he can to improve his property and provide nice homes for his tenants.
Mark believes that success can be achieved on many different levels by everyone and is driven by not only his success but that of his clients.
Mark is a proud father of two and is soon to become a Poppa for the very first time, something he is very excited about.
