In our latest housing market update, Stephen Barfoot reports strong momentum in June as Auckland heads into winter:

🏠 876 sales - the highest June sales volume in four years
💵 Median price: $981,500 | Average price: highest in three months
📈 2025 year-to-date sales are tracking 20% higher than 2024

Despite the seasonal slowdown, sales remained strong, and median prices climbed to their highest point this year, up 5.7% from May. While listings dipped slightly to 1,405, overall stock remains steady. Rural and lifestyle properties also had a standout month, with June sales value hitting a three-year high at $59 million.

💵 Median price: $930,000 | Average price: $1,107,006
📈 2,073 new listings, bringing total stock to a 14-year high
