La Petite Maison — a Taupō stay with a little extra ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“The property was nice, clean and as expected. The bikes and paddleboards were a nice addition. The property is a short walk to the City Centre with lots to do and see… Highly recommended.”

La Petite Maison is the kind of Taupō home that makes a stay feel effortless. Clean, comfortable and well set up, with bikes and paddleboards included for making the most of the lake and local area, plus town close by when you’re ready for cafés, dining and exploring.

The Town Centre Taupō Stella Awards were a great reminder of just how much care, passion and pride sits behind the businesses that make Taupō such a special place to live, visit and return to.

We were incredibly proud to be named Winner of the Love Taupō Smooth Accommodator award, recognising the work our team puts into creating a seamless, well supported experience for our guests.

But more than anything, it was a night to celebrate the people and businesses across Taupō who contribute to that wider visitor experience every day.

This week, we’ve been at the Airbnb Host Summit in Sydney — an exclusive event bringing together around 300 professional hosts, Superhosts, community leaders and ambassadors from across Australia and New Zealand.

It was a valuable opportunity to share ideas, learn from some of the most experienced operators in the industry, and look at what’s next for hosting.

MyStays founder Elle Knight also joined a panel discussion on technology and AI in professional hosting, sharing some of the systems and processes we’ve developed as the business has grown.
