With a background in banking and insurance, he began with the financial services arm of the Realty Group (EVES and Bayleys) as Mortgage Adviser, before becoming certified in Insurances and Investments adding value to clients with advice around money and property. As the company expanded, Jon’s skills in business management saw him take on leadership roles including General Manager and CEO as the business grew nationwide. Seeking a new challenge, Jon moved to Bayleys as a Residential Salesperson and quickly established himself in the Tauranga market. With his qualifications and experience in management and in particular communication, sales and negotiations he then took the opportunity to become Residential Sales Manager when it arose. Jon is motivated by growing great people and teams built on a foundation of positive culture, best practice and fulfilment from delivering an exceptional client experience. His guidance behind the scenes will ensure you get trust, insight and partnership from our Bayleys people as they help you with your property goals. Jon grew up on Auckland’s North Shore before finishing his schooling in Wellington. He attended Massey University then travelled and worked in the UK for a number of years. Returning home, he and his wife made Tauranga their home and now have two teenage sons. Jon enjoys fishing, golf, rugby, music, camping, cooking in the pizza oven and spending time with family and friends.
