1. Purpose of this Page
This page is an official communication channel of Mangatawa Pāpāmoa Blocks Incorporation (MPBI). It exists to:
Keep shareholders and whānau informed of news, events, and important notices. Provide updates on MPBI projects, operations, and strategic developments. Share stories that reflect our whakapapa, whenua, and whānau values.
2. Respectful Engagement
Whānau are encouraged to engage, comment, and ask questions respectfully. Differences of opinion are natural, but personal attacks, harassment, bullying, or disrespectful comments will not be tolerated. Please remember you are communicating on a public platform – kōrero as if you are at the marae.
3. Accuracy & Misinformation
Comments or posts that spread false, misleading, or unverified information about MPBI, its operations, or its people may be removed. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the office directly rather than relying on social media commentary.
4. Confidentiality & Privacy
Do not post private information about other shareholders, staff, or members of the Committee of Management. Employment and legal matters will not be discussed publicly on this page due to confidentiality and privacy obligations. We reserve the right to remove posts that breach confidentiality or privacy.
5. Moderation & Administration
The page is monitored by MPBI administrators. Posts or comments that breach these rules may be hidden or deleted without notice. Repeat breaches may result in individuals being blocked from the page. Decisions of page administrators are final.
6. Tikanga & Kaupapa
We uphold our cultural values in this space: manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga, and kaitiakitanga. Discussions should be constructive, solution-focused, and in the spirit of collective advancement for our shareholders and mokopuna.

In accordance with the Mangatawa Pāpāmoa Blocks Incorporation Constitution, rule 23 of the Māori Incorporations Constitution Regulations 1994, and the recent direction of the Māori Land Court that the election of 2 Committee of Management members be deferred to a Special General Meeting, an election will be held at a Special General Meeting of shareholders on Saturday, 12 December 2026 at 10am, to elect 2 persons to fill 2 vacancies in the Committee of Management for Mangatawa Pāpāmoa Blocks Incorporation.

Ko te kaupapa ka whāia e tātau i tēnei tau ko "Te Reo Towns". He mea whakanui i ngā taone me ngā hapori p**a noa i Aotearoa e kaha kōrerotia ana te reo hai rautaki whakarauora i te reo Māori.

Waihoki, kai te piki ake te kaha o te reo Māori ka kōrerotia ki te tari. I tēnei wiki ka whakamahia e ngā kaimahi o MPBI ngā kīwaha, ngā whakataukī me ngā kupu hou e hāngai pū ana ki ia wāhi mahi.

E kī ana te kōrero, ahakoa he iti, he pounamu!

Welcome to Māori language week, 2026! 😁😁😁

The theme for this year is "Te Reo Towns". It celebrates the towns and communities across the country who are actively speaking te reo Māori as part of their reo regeneration strategy.

Also - our use of reo Māori is increasing in our office! This week, our kaimahi here at MPBI will be using proverbs, idioms, new words that are relevant to each work stream.

As the saying goes, although it maybe small - it is treasured!
