Lately I’ve been thinking about real estate, and the kind of agent I actually want to be for people.

Not just someone who turns up with a sold sticker at the end, but someone who brings a different flavour to the process along the way.

Because selling a home is a big thing. It’s emotional, it’s personal, and it can feel overwhelming at times. And I’ve seen how much difference it makes when someone can bring calm to that, clear direction, and a bit of light heartedness.

I still keep coming back to the same thing though, none of that matters if we don’t get the job done. The sold sign is the goal.

Everything else is just how I get you there: with honesty, clarity, and a bit of humour when it’s needed most.

I’m known by lots of different names.

“BigDog” from the gym, Mr Vink from my years as a teacher, Pastor B from my time in ministry, and through Real Estate.

But my favourite title of all is simply Dad.

I was reminded of this recently when my 7-year-old said to me, “You are lots of things to lots of people, but to me, you’re Dad.”

That simple comment stopped me in my tracks.

What a privilege it is to raise little humans who depend on you, learn from you, and look to you for guidance and love.

So when you choose to support my real estate business by , you’re doing more than helping me sell houses. You’re helping my family thrive.

When I celebrate a win, my family celebrates with me. Every appraisal, every referral, and every sale helps create opportunities for the people who matter most in my world.

For that, I’m incredibly grateful.
