THIS STARTED WITH FEAR
She didn’t start confident.
She didn’t walk in knowing what she was doing.

She was anxious. Nervous. Second-guessing everything 😬

But she still took one step into the gym 🚶‍♀️

That one step turned into another…
Then another…

Now?
👉 She trains on her own
👉 She backs herself
👉 She’s living a completely different life 💪

Here’s the thing…
It’s not about being fearless.

It’s about starting despite the fear ❤️

One small step in the gym can turn into life-changing confidence outside of it 🌱🔥

Blokes are especially good at this.
Something starts to hurt…
And instead of dealing with it, they:
Train around it
Ignore it
Hope it goes away
(Shockingly… it doesn’t.)

One of my clients did the opposite.
When the injury popped up, he didn’t try to be a hero.
He got it checked.
Got it treated.
And gave it time to recover properly.

Which, I know, doesn’t sound exciting.
But here’s the result:
He’s now back to full fitness.
Pain-free.
Training consistently again.

This is the bit people miss.
Taking a short step back is often what allows you to move forward properly.
Pushing through an injury doesn’t make you tough.
It usually just keeps you stuck.

THE BEST WORKOUT?
The new guidelines from American College of Sports Medicine just dropped… 📢

After a meta-analysis of the research 🔬… here’s the takeaway:
The best workout?
👉 The one you’ll actually do.

Not the “perfect” plan 🤓
Not the one you saved on Instagram 6 months ago 📲
Not the one that looks impressive but feels like a chore 😮‍💨

If it’s too hard, too long, or too complicated…
you won’t stick to it ❌

Consistency beats perfection. Every time 💪

So instead of asking,
“What’s the best program?”

Ask yourself:
“What will I actually show up and do this week…and the weeks after?” 👀

Start there. Stick to it.
That’s how results happen 🔥

New strength guidelines just dropped from the American College of Sports Medicine 📢

After a meta-analysis of the research 🔬… here’s the takeaway:
You don’t need to train to failure😅

In fact, leaving 2–3 reps in reserve is where most people get better results 💪

Why?
✅ less fatigue
✅ better recovery
✅ more consistent training
But it’s not the smartest way to train long-term ❌
Smashing yourself to failure every set might feel hardcore…
but it’s not the smartest way to train long-term ❌

You’re not trying to win one workout.
You’re trying to stack up months of good ones 📈

So next time you’re lifting…
leave a couple in the tank 👍

At some point… everyone looks like a t**t at the gym. 😅

Missed reps.
Awkward setups.
Using a machine completely wrong like you invented a new exercise.

It’s not if it happens… it’s when.

The difference?
Some people get embarrassed and disappear.
Others laugh it off… and come back anyway.

And guess which group actually gets results. 👀

Stop waiting to feel confident.
Start showing up — even if you look like a bit of a muppet.

That’s the game. 💪

You’re not stuck.

You’re just repeating the same mistakes.

This is something I see all the time.

People are working hard.

They’re showing up.

They’re sweating.

They’re putting in effort.

But they’re not getting the results they want.

And it’s frustrating.

Because it feels like they’re doing everything right.

But here’s the reality:

Most people don’t need to train harder.

They need to train better.

The most common things I see are:

• rushing reps

• not using the full range of motion

• chasing heavier weights too early

• relying only on increasing their weights

None of these are “big” mistakes.

But over time, they add up.

And they’re often the reason people plateau.

The fix isn’t complicated.

Slow things down.

Control your movements.

Use full range.

Challenge your body in smarter ways.

Same gym.

Same effort.

Completely different result.

This is Amanda.

Amanda claims that she supports the Hurricanes...but we know that she secretly loves the Blues!

Very vocal if an exercise is hard, stubborn is not just her middle name, but her first name as well.

She is a pleasure to coach, and we always have a lot of fun...apart from when I give her burpees, then it is only me having fun!

One of my clients came to me eating just one meal a day.

Dinner.

No breakfast.
No lunch.
Just a big meal at night.

On paper, it didn’t seem like a big deal.

But in reality?

His energy was low.
She felt flat during the day.
And by the evening he was absolutely starving.

Which made consistency really hard.

So we didn’t overhaul everything.

We didn’t jump into strict meal plans.

We just focused on one simple habit:

Eating something in the morning.

Nothing fancy.

Just something small, done consistently.

And over time, that one change made a big difference.

Better energy.
Less extreme hunger at night.
More consistency overall.

This is something I see a lot.

People think they need to completely overhaul their nutrition to make progress.

Most of the time, they don’t.

They just need to build a few simple habits that actually stick.

I’m curious —

Do you eat breakfast… or are you someone who skips it?

🚨 STOP TRUSTING THE SCALES 🚨

If your progress depends on that number…
Half the time, it means nothing.ail.

Weight goes up.
Weight goes down.
Half the time it means nothing.

Meanwhile… you’re getting fitter, stronger, and building better habits 💪

Focus on what actually matters —
not what the scales say.
