The June figures show that winter hasn’t stopped property decisions being made across Wānaka.

During the month, 40 dwellings sold with a median sale price of $1.51 million, while 17 sections sold with a median of $695,000.

Winter can still be a good time to sell. There is often less competition from other listings, and buyers can experience the warmth, sunlight and performance of a home when those qualities matter most.
