These are our leaders, mentors, organisers, problem solvers, master craftsmen, occasional miracle workers - and the most passionate group of builders you could wish for.

Dragged off the building site and in front of the camera - they look pretty fresh for over 160 years of combined experience!

The 2026 Challenge Wānaka triathlon - what a race!!

Nail biting to the very end, the local teams competition was on fire! There's definitely something in the water here in Wānaka, with 18 teams racing and some blistering times across every stage.

Massive congratulations to Breen Construction for taking out the corporate trophy. Dunlop Builders came in a very happy second, and were joined again on the podium by the legends at Kinisi Running in third. Race sponsor Gallagher Insurance weren't far behind either.

Bryce joined the team with a second place in age category.

Well done to everyone who took part! We loved the fantastic sportsmanship across the entire field, from the first to the final athlete across the line - thanks for putting on a brilliant show for all of us on the sidelines.

It just about goes without saying now but...we'll see you all at the start line again next year!

Solid representation from Dunlop Builders at the offroad duathlon (43km MTB & 14km trail run). We had 2 teams, and 3 solo competitors. A tough day out in wet and windy conditions, but hard work is nothing new to this lot, who finished (mostly) smiling!

Thanks to the Challenge Wanaka team, some tough calls had to be made on the day but it was another outstanding event. We'll be back next year (and it won't be just the boys having all the fun next time).

It's hard to believe we have been working from our 'new' office for two years now!

In that time we have celebrated the completion of 8 new homes, started 6 more, won 9 industry awards, certified 4 new carpenters, increased our carpentry team, brought Glen on board as our General Manager, watched the All Blacks beat England, and enjoyed (or endured) mountain carting, mountain biking, jet boat sprinting, off-road 4wd driving.

We still can't make fancy swirls on top of our coffee, figure out the door key pad, remember to water the plants or the wifi code. But some things take a bit more time...

It was another fantastic day out at the Challenge Wanaka triathlon.

We retained the corporate trophy for the 4th year and with just minutes separating the winning teams it was the hottest contest yet. Bring on 2026!

Our 'Young Guns' team - who signed up less than 2 weeks before the event - absolutely smashed it! 9th placed corporate team and the fastest transition time - go team, you pulled together so well and had the biggest smiles across the finish line.

Bryce won his age group! We also had our people racing in open team categories, staff and their families volunteering throughout the festival, and of course kids having a ball in the school events. Thanks again to for putting on such a fun, challenging and inclusive event!
