In 2018 she was awarded the prestigious honour of being a recipient of the “Hall of Fame” and one of the Top 50 salespeople in the world under the RE/MAX banner. In 2022, Debbie took a bold step to leave franchise-based brands and started up her own business working with a new hybrid style of selling under the name of Debbie Aldred Real Estate, supported by Independent Agent Ltd. She came up with the idea of creating a real estate hub to enable her and her real estate colleagues, a shared office space to produce high-class marketing collateral and a beautiful space in which to meet and greet clients. The move has been overwhelmingly successful enabling her to provide a much more personalized service for her clients. Outside real estate, Debbie and her partner, Les Marsh have a large, blended family of 6 adult children with four sons and two daughters, and now, a beautiful granddaughter, all spread around the world. Debbie and Les manage Tongue Farm, a 74-hectare sheep and cattle property in Matakana. Debbie is also the Commodore of the Sandspit Yacht Club; there is no stopping this girl! In 2019, Debbie and Les were lucky enough to complete an epic sailing trip with aboard her family’s 46-foot yacht, traveling from Spain to New Zealand just before the Pandemic shut down the world!
