Plenty happening over at Wadestown Rise, a 10 townhouse development by Urban Company

Despite the recent weather, the team has been working hard to keep things on track. With each block at a different stage of construction, there’s plenty happening on site every day, and it’s great to see all of the progress taking place. For us, staying closely connected to the site and the teams involved is key- it helps us keep across the details, push process, and make sure everything is moving in the right direction.

Set across from Kilbirnie Park, St Giles Park View is a 20-home development now nearing completion on Kilbirnie Crescent.

From early planning through to construction and delivery, it’s been rewarding seeing the project continue to take shape and the vision come to life on site.

With open homes now underway, it’s a great milestone for everyone involved in bringing the development together.

Wadestown Rise is at one of those rewarding stages where progress is becoming noticeable across the site.

The civil works are pushing ahead, blockwork is going up, and the project is starting to show the rhythm of how these homes will eventually sit within the landscape. What’s exciting about this development is how much detail has gone into working with the site itself with steep access and a location right in the middle of one of Wellington’s popular suburbs.

There’s a real energy on site at the moment. Machines moving, crews overlapping, progress happening in multiple areas at once. The kind of stage where months of planning start turning into something physical you can walk through.

Proud to be part of delivering a 10-townhouse development that will add something fresh to Wadestown while still feeling connected to the character of the area.

Progress is tracking well at St Giles Park View, with the finish line in sight. This 20-townhouse development in the heart of Kilbirnie is on track for completion in July, with our first stage, Block C, already complete.

With the project being delivered in stages, it’s been all about keeping sequencing and trades aligned to maintain flow across site. The final block is now gearing up to go vertical, while the other blocks are nearing completion.

Steady progress at St Giles Park View in Kilbirnie, a 20-townhouse development for Urban Company.

Three of the four blocks are now standing, and it’s great to see the shape of the project really coming together.

As with any development, the process is always evolving. There are challenges to work through, details to refine, and decisions to adapt to along the way.
