A unique opportunity has arisen to join the boutique property management team at Trust Property Management. We are a small team managing over 280 tenancies in the Wellington area.
We are looking to open our doors to both an amazing property management and junior property manager.
These are great roles that are flexible, highly entertaining and will ensure your days are varied.
What you will do when you join our team:
Meeting and vetting prospective tenants
Arranging paperwork for new tenants
Managing tenancy terminations, expiries and extensions
Managing a range of tenant-related issues, including maintenance requests
Undertaking regular property inspections
General office administration
Tenancy related maintenance, eg moving furniture
Have a laugh and enjoy a fab team environment
At Trust Property Management we know that good property management involves people management and a willingness to roll your sleeves up should the task require it. Here is what our ideal candidate looks like:
You do not need experience in property management but you do need to have a positive, can-do attitude
You have plenty of initiative and are highly organised
You will be willing to learn, and will take direction
You are open to ensuring that we continue to push the boundaries to remain fresh and on top of client/tenant needs
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills
You have strong relationship management skills - you are a people person
You may have a business degree and you if you are not familiar with the Residential Tenancies Act, you have the ability to upskill yourself
You are willing and able to work after hours and on weekends, as this role requires it
You might currently be working in sales, you may have just finished a business degree or you could be in an existing role involving lots of people contact, and be looking for your next challenge.
