Winners once again for the fitout at Chapman Tripp - Wellington Office!!!

We are very proud to be part of the team that has been awarded 'GOLD' in the Commercial Fitout Category at the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards held in Wellington last week.

Feeling very proud of our team!

With our main office being in Wellington and two small regional offices in New Plymouth and Havelock North, our Development Management (DM) and Project Management (PM) teams have certainly covered a lot of ground working on some exciting projects throughout NZ with various iwi, corporates, private developers and government departments.

Below highlights some of the locations in particular we have worked on projects or are in the midst of.

On Friday four of our team participated in the Stephanie Murray Mortgages Charity Golf Tournament at Fitzroy Golf Course in New Plymouth. Not only did we get to enjoy a fantastic day on the course, but we also had the honour of sponsoring one of the holes.

This event was not just about golf; it was about coming together for a great cause and one that we were very proud to support -The Roderique Hope Emergency Housing Trust, who help bring hope and support to individuals and families facing adversity.

Well done to all those involved and we look forward to being a part of it again next year.

A great article in the autumn Live Magazine about how we managed the redevelopment project of Ngamotu House in New Plymouth, from the very start through to completion. We are so proud of it, we even moved in!!!!

It is with much sadness that we say au revoir to our lovely Tim, who is about to embark on a fabulous expedition overseas and based mainly in France for the next couple of years - oh how tough that will be!😝

Tim was our exceptional Property Advisor, who's hard work and dedication to his role and to ED was sublime, and it goes without saying that there will be a empty void in the office now without him.

Keep in touch Timbo, we miss you already and may your travels be a safe and happy one.

Our New Plymouth team attended the Tradies Tools Down event at the TSB Stadium yesterday. Aimed at increasing the awareness and understanding of mental health, John Kirwan was the keynote speaker and over 1000 tradies put their tools down and attended. A great event and one our team thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a team participate in the JLL Charity Golf Day last Thursday and we were also one of the main sponsors for this event, with proceeds going to The Compassion Soup Kitchen. Lots of fun had by all even though the weather wasn't the best and we were delighted to hear that nearly $16,000 was raised.

Thanks JLL for organising such a fantastic day and to all the other participants for making it a memorable day on the green. Looking forward to many more opportunities to connect and collaborate in the future!

The Ngāmotu House redevelopment managed by Egmont Dixon demanded a unique project management approach to align with Te Atiawa's vision. Partnering with local contractors Clelands Construction and Boon Architects, the scope included strengthening, asbestos removal, roof/window replacement, façade upgrade, and tenancy fitouts across six floors.

Egmont Dixon's involvement extended beyond traditional project management, starting early with feasibility and land acquisition services. The fitout phase required managing individual consents for each floor, involving coordination with various contractors and stakeholders, aligning with Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa's vision.

The attention to detail at all stages has helped to make Ngāmotu House a beautiful flagship building for Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa and other organisations to call home.
