What better use of a space about to undergo refurbishment could there be?! “Freak Out City,” is the title track from McKenzie’s forthcoming sophomore album, out Friday, August 15th worldwide. The humorous, quirky video is directed by Ezra Simons and stars McKenzie as an employee having a very strange day at the office.

A thoroughly well deserved acknowledgement to Stuart Gardyne and the team from architecture+, with Massey House (126LQ) taking out the heritage category of the NZIA - Wellington Branch 2025 Awards, for the exquisite restoration and strengthening of this Lambon Quay icon. Another proud heritage restoration within our commercial portfolio, we are privileged to call this incredible building, with all its fine detailing, home.

We have plenty on the go for 2025 in our wonderful Capital, but we also have two projects operational in the South Island, and this week we've already seen an excellent response to our stage 3 release at The Clearing North Canterbury. With surrounds like that - it's easy to see why. It's getting to that fun time of year when all the sparkly stuff gets pulled out of the back of the cupboard and magic happens over Christmas!
This year, Erskine Chapel has decided to do something a bit special. Not only are we hosting a Carols by Candlelight on 15 December (tickets through Eventfinda), we are inviting businesses and groups from the local community to participate in a Christmas Tree Festival in the Chapel.
If you are a Wellington City, South Coast or Eastern Suburbs business, community group, sports club, school, childcare centre, or charity group we welcome you to apply now to participate in this event by creating and displaying a Christmas Tree at Erskine, in the best way that represents you in the community.
This is a great opportunity to get some marketing for your business and we will have the chapel open throughout December at set times for people to come view the trees.

Every year, the TWC team look forward to being part of this heartwarming initiative, and this year was extra special! We had the privilege of setting up the Wellington City Mission’s Christmas toy store in their newly opened Whakamaru in Newtown—an incredible building dedicated to supporting those in need.

Last Friday, we transformed one of the community spaces at Whakamaru into a festive wonderland with balloons, Christmas trees, Santa stockings, and even a cozy pretend fireplace.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of Wellingtonians donating new toys, parents and caregivers can experience the dignity and joy of selecting gifts they know their children will love.

Fabulous night at the recent Property Council New Zealand Wellington Property People Awards, where we collectively celebrated Erina's nomination for Property Professional of the year - this woman has superhuman Facilities Management skills, and a total knack for connecting Wellington. We love her drive, spark, tenacity and heart - as you can see here, she's much treasured. The awards celebrate and recognise the people behind the projects in the Wellington region, and Erina is right up there with the absolute best...which we then tested by making her relocate our own offices. Into one of our own newly restored buildings at 126LQ. Which she also helped to programme, and tenant. Cheers Erina! You (and all those containers of keys) can have the weekend off.

We’re excited to share something special is happening at 1FI/107 Cuba Street (the Wellington Workingmen’s Club). The artistic talents of Paula Collier and Sacha Lees
have breathed life back into the space with their incredible exhibition. The artwork perfectly compliments the character of this unique building, creating a truly cool space.

Opening night is Thursday 7th November at 5:30pm. The exhibition will also be open to the public on 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th November from 12pm to 4pm.
