He’s slotted right in, being a great friend of both Christine and Ace - and has actually been Ace’s best mate since school!

Tony brings 9+ years of experience as a builder, both running jobs and being on the tools. He brings a ton of experience and plenty of tricks of the trade to the team!

A Bronze Award, but the real win was sharing the night with our clients 🥉🏡

We’re incredibly proud to have received Bronze for our very first entry into the Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

But something said throughout the evening really stayed with us: if you’re still friends with your clients at the end of the build, you’ve done something right.

For us, that’s what this photo represents. A beautiful home, a great result, and a relationship we’re genuinely grateful to have built along the way.

A special milestone for our family-owned team, made even better by celebrating it with the wonderful people who trusted us to create their home. 🤍

A pretty exciting first for Ground Up Homes! 🏡✨

This year we’ve entered our very first Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards, and tomorrow night we get to head along to the awards and see what it’s all about! 🥂

We’re also pretty stoked to see our Crofton Downs build featured in the House of the Year magazine. Seeing one of our homes across these pages feels like a special little milestone for our family-owned business. ❤️

Even better, we’re sharing the feature with some of the awesome suppliers who helped bring this home together, The Team at PlaceMakers Hutt City and Chatswood Kitchens. Building a great home is always a team effort, and we’re lucky to work alongside some seriously good people.

No big expectations for our first year, we’re just excited to be part of it, celebrate the work that went into this home, and enjoy the night tomorrow. 🤞🥂

The finishing touches make all the difference 🔐✨

We loved spending the day exploring our new supplier, K N K Architectural Hardware, and their beautiful showroom.

From internal hardware to front door locks, there are so many gorgeous options to choose from, all in a warm, welcoming space that makes the selection process that much easier. 🤍

So many little details that help make a home feel like yours.

✨ Cosy corners really do make a house feel like home. 🏡

Sometimes the smallest spaces become your favourite. A sunny nook, beautiful flooring underfoot, soft sheers dancing in the breeze, and shutters that frame the light perfectly. 🌿☀️

Creating a home isn't always about the big statement pieces, it's about designing spaces that make you want to slow down, unwind, and simply enjoy being there.

July moments at Ground Up Homes ✨🏡

A little behind-the-scenes dump of what’s been happening…

🎥 The boys nearly ran off site when the marketing team came charging in for a fresh content… thankfully, they couldn’t escape quick enough (coming soon 👀)

🐾 Meet Luna - the newest (and fluffiest) member in the team! 🤍

😂 Surviving school holidays, supporting the boss through surgery recovery, and plenty of meetings beside the bed… the joys of a family business!

🏡 Another project is at final design stages, and we can’t wait to share more!

🤍 And we farewelled Liesl as she heads off on maternity leave - a big moment for our Ground Up family.

Busy, chaotic, exciting… just how we like it ✨
