🌟 Get to Know the Agent | Donna Baker 🌟
Behind every successful property journey is someone who genuinely cares about people, community, and helping others achieve their goals. This week, we're getting to know Donna Baker a little better!
🐾 What do you like to do outside of work?
I love being outside as much as I can, if I’m not out boating/swimming in the summer. I’m out with my dogs on my parent’s farm or walking along beaches or walking tracks. I enjoy going to classic/muscle car shows dreaming of ‘my dream car’ that I will own one day, the louder the motor the better lol.
🌱 Where did you grow up?
I was lucky enough to grow up on the family farm in Wellsford, attending the local kindergartens and schools along the way. Wellsford has always been home at heart, although two years ago my family and I made the move to Snells Beach. As the saying goes, you can take the girl out of the town, but you can't take the town out of the girl! Before long, my career brought me back to where it all started, helping people achieve their property goals in the town that will always feel like home. While my family and I now enjoy life at Snells Beach, I’m fortunate to have the best of both worlds, combining my roots in Wellsford with the lifestyle of our new coastal community.
☕ Coffee or tea?
Tough call! Coffee is my go-to before midday, but there's nothing better than a nice cup of tea in the evening.
🌍 If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
David Attenborough would be at the top of my list. His incredible knowledge, passion for wildlife, and experiences from around the world absolutely fascinate me. I could listen to his stories for hours. He has a remarkable way of bringing nature to life, and with so many amazing adventures and insights to share, I think this would make for a truly unforgettable dinner.
🎵 What's one thing most people don't know about you?
One thing most people don't know about me is that music is my reset button. Whether I'm feeling anxious, stressed, or just need a boost, I'll put on my favourite playlist. And if I'm home alone, chances are I'll be dancing around the house like a mad woman too!
❤️ What are your hobbies?
I have lots of hobbies and enjoy a wide range of things, although it's not often, I take a full day off! For me, happiness is quite simple. As long as my family is close by, my dogs and cat are around me, and the sun is shining, I'm happy in my own little bubble taking on whatever the day has in store.
