🏡 Whakatane Market Update – August 2026

The latest stats are out from The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand , with 32 properties sold across Whakatane during August, up from 28 in August last year.

The median sale price was $627,500, while the median days to sell increased to 53 days.

The takeaway? Properties are selling, but buyers are taking a little longer to make their move – making price, presentation and a strong marketing strategy more important than ever.
